Terms & conditions
Last updated: 3 october 2026
1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account, subscribing to or using BillRaw (the "Service"), through the Staff App or the Customer Ordering Site, you agree to these Terms. If you accept on behalf of a business (a café, restaurant, QSR, bakery or cloud kitchen, the "Outlet"), you confirm you can bind that business.
- Outlets and their staff (Owner, Manager, Cashier, Chef): all sections apply.
- End Customers ordering by QR code without an account: Section 9 applies specifically.
2. What the Service is
BillRaw is software-as-a-service for cafés and restaurants: a role-based Android app for Cashiers, Chefs, Managers and Owners; a real-time kitchen display; low-stock alerts; sales insights; an audit log; and a customer QR ordering page. We are a technology provider, not a restaurant, food seller, payment processor or party to any sale between an Outlet and its customers. The Service is provided by ALOK KUMAR SAHU, proprietor of Grewdo.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be 18 or older to hold an Owner or staff account.
- The Owner creates staff accounts, assigns roles and removes access when someone leaves. We are not responsible for actions taken through a staff account the Outlet didn't deactivate.
- Keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at support@billraw.in if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Keep your Outlet and contact details accurate and up to date.
4. Plans, billing and payment
Plans cost ₹799, ₹899 or ₹999 per outlet per month. What each plan includes is confirmed with you before you subscribe.
- Subscriptions are billed per outlet, monthly in advance, and renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.
- Prices are in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of applicable GST.
- If a payment fails, we may suspend the Outlet's access after reasonable notice until it is resolved.
- We give at least 30 days' notice of price changes. Using the Service after the change means you accept it.
4.1 Cancellation and refunds
- You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
- Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable, including part-months.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to sell illegal goods or misdescribe what you sell;
- bypass role-based access, access another Outlet's data, or reverse-engineer the app;
- introduce malware, scrape the Service at scale or overload our systems;
- use voids or discounts to hide theft or fraud (audit-log data may be shared with law enforcement or an Owner's investigation where lawful);
- resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, with notice where reasonably possible.
6. Responsibilities within an Outlet
The Owner is responsible for choosing who gets which role, for the accuracy of menu prices, stock and business details, and for resolving disputes with their own customers about orders, food quality or refunds. We have no role in, and no liability for, the food or service an Outlet provides.
7. Intellectual property and your data
- We own the Service, its software, design and trademarks. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your Outlet during your subscription. This is a licence, not a sale.
- Your data is yours. Your menu, prices, stock records and order history remain your property. We process them only to provide the Service, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
8. Third-party services
The Service runs on third-party infrastructure, including Neon (database), Render (servers) and Resend (email). If we add integrations in future, their own terms may also apply and we will link to them.
9. Terms for End Customers (QR ordering)
- You order directly from the Outlet, not from us. We provide the technology that shows the menu, takes the order and shows its status.
- You pay at the counter, directly to the Outlet. We don't process or see your payment details.
- Order accuracy, food quality, allergens, prices, refunds and in-person disputes are the Outlet's responsibility.
- No account is needed. Any name or phone number you give is used only to help the Outlet serve your order, as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Availability
We work to keep the Service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation. BillRaw needs an internet connection. We recommend Outlets keep a simple manual backup (such as an order pad) in case of an outage, especially in the early launch period.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties, to the extent the law allows.
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees the affected Outlet paid in the 3 months before the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, except where the law doesn't allow this to be excluded.
- Nothing here limits liability for fraud, gross negligence or anything that can't be excluded under Indian law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or a dispute between your Outlet and its customers or staff.
13. Ending the Service
You can stop using the Service and cancel at any time (Section 4.1). We may suspend or end access, with notice where reasonably possible, for breach of these Terms, non-payment, legal requirements, or if we can no longer provide the Service (with reasonable notice and a way to export your data). Sections 7, 11, 12 and 15 continue after termination.
14. Changes to these terms
We will tell Outlet Owners about material changes in the app or by email at least 15 days before they take effect. Using the Service after that date means you accept them.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Surat, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to either party seeking urgent relief in any competent court.
16. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters, internet, power or cloud-provider outages, or government action.
